MANDARIN CHICKEN SALAD 
2 c. cooked chicken, cut into sm. pieces
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Mix and refrigerate overnight.

1 c. seedless grapes
1 c. celery, chopped
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1 box sm. macaroni rings, cooked

1/2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
1/2 c. cooked dressing (recipe below)
Scant cup cream, whipped

Toss dressing with salad ingredients.

COOKED DRESSING:

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
Stir in 1 egg. Add 1/2 cup vinegar. Cook slowly until thick. Serves 6
to 8.
