YAM YUMS 
2 apples, sliced
1/3 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 (17 oz.) cans yams, drained and sliced
1/4 c. butter
2 c. miniature marshmallows

Toss apples and nuts with combined brown sugar and cinnamon. Alternate layers of apples and yams in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Dot with butter. Cover. Bake 350 degrees, 35-40 minutes. Then sprinkle with marshmallows and broil until lightly brown. 6-8 servings.
