2 (8 oz.) pkgs. sharp cheddar cheese (I buy cheese already grated)
1 sm. onion
1 c. pecans, chopped
2/3 c. mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Dash of cayenne
Med. jar strawberry preserves

Shred cheese in food processor, then onions. Chop pecans until fine. In bowl mix everything together (except preserves). Shape into a ring sprayed with Pam. Chill for several hours. Unmold onto plate and spread with strawberry preserves. Serve with crackers. Can mold in quiche plate and spread with jam.
