STRAWBERRY OATMEAL BARS 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
2 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. (12 oz. jar) strawberry preserves or jam
1 tbsp. water

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine cake mix, oats and melted butter until crumbly. Take half and press firmly into 13 x 9 inch greased pan. Combine preserves and water and spread evenly in pan on top of other mixture. Cover with the remaining crumbly mixture evenly. Bake 20 minutes until light brown. Let cool and cut into bars. Makes about 36 bars.
