BROCCOLI OR CAULIFLOWER CHEESE
SOUP
 
3/4 c. minced onion
2 tbsp. butter
6 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
4 c. uncooked noodles
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli or cauliflower
6 c. milk
4 c. cubed American cheese

In saucepan cook onion in butter until tender.

Add water, bouillon cubes, salt, pepper and garlic salt. Bring to boil stirring to dissolve bouillon. Gradually add noodles. Cook uncovered for 3 minutes. Stir in broccoli, cook 5 minutes. Add milk and cheese; continue cooking until cheese is melted and soup is steaming hot. Do not boil.

Yields 12 servings. Can be cut in half.
