1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chocolate chips (optional)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix ingredients in medium size bowl until dough is no longer sticky. Form 1 inch size balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 2 to 2 1/2 dozen.
