HOT FUDGE SUNDAE 
3 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 3/4 c. light cream from top of milk or 1 can of Pet evaporated milk
1/4 c. enriched flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. toasted almonds; optional

Melt chocolate in cream or milk over a double boiler, cooking until smooth. Stir occasionally. Combine sugar, flour, and salt. Add to the chocolate mixture. Cook until smooth and slightly thick, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Serve hot over vanilla ice cream and top with whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry, if desired. Also good cold!
