SCOTCH EGGS 
12 oz. pork sausage, ground
1 lg. egg, hard cooked, peeled
1 lg. beaten egg
1/3 c. bread crumbs, fine dry
Fat for deep frying

Make a patty out of sausage, wrap each patty around 1 egg, pressing edge together to seal. Dip sausage wrapped egg in beaten egg, then roll in bread crumbs until completely coated. Cook egg in 375 degree deep fat until golden brown and heated through, 7 to 9 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot or cold.
