MUSSELS POSSILICO 
4 lb. mussels, washed and cleaned
4 oz. sweet white wine or sherry
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 (28 oz.) can Italian tomatoes, chopped
1/8 tsp. hot pepper
1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 c. olive oil

Use a 6 quart pot. Place in all ingredients. Bring to a boil on medium-high heat. Lower heat to low and cook 25 minutes. Place in 1/2 shells, and place in deep dish cover with sauce or use sauce over linguine pasta. Makes 4-6 servings.
