BEEF STEW 
3 potatoes
3 carrots
1 onion
2 celery sticks
1 sm. rutabaga (can)
2 lbs. stew meat (roast)
1 c. tomato juice or sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. Minute tapioca
2 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf

Cut up and mix all ingredients. In large covered casserole, bake 4 hours in 250 to 275 degree oven. Serves 4-6.
