THIMBLE COOKIES | |
1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1 1/2 c. flour Pinch of salt 1 c. finely chopped nuts 1 c. jelly Beat butter with sugar until smooth and creamy. Add egg and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in flour and salt. Flour hands, roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart with thimble or thumb make depression in center of each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Fill centers with jelly when cool. |
