10 lg. peaches, peeled, pitted & sliced 6 c. sugar Combine the peaches and the sugar and let stand in a cool place overnight. Boil gently, stirring frequently until the fruit is clear and the syrup thick, about 45 minutes. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal. (About 7 half pint jars.) |
