2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
5 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water

Combine flour and sugar and set aside. Bring to boil, pour over flour and sugar, mix well. Add 1/2 cup buttermilk, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon vanilla, pour into greased cookie sheet. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 300 to 350 degrees.

ICING:

4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
6 tbsp. milk

Bring to boil. Beat in 1 box powdered sugar, 1 cup pecans and beat well. Spread on cake while hot.
