SUNDAY BEEF ROAST | |
4-5 lb. roast (cheaper cut is better) 1 onion 1 can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom 1 tsp. Poppa Dash 1 tsp. garlic powder Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Put roast in heavy baking pan. On the burner brown roast very well on both sides, add seasoning to meat as it browns. When brown on both sides, slice onion. Lay on top of the meat. Put soup on top of onion (no water). Cover, put in oven, let cook at 425 degrees for 30 minutes, reduce heat to 250 degrees. Let cook until you come home from church (approximately 3 hours). Very good. Gravy is all made. |
