FROZEN PICKLES 
25 med. cucumbers
10 med. onions
5 lb. sugar
1 1/2 pt. vinegar

Slice cucumbers and onions very thin and soak in cold water overnight. Boil sugar and vinegar to cool. Drain cucumbers and onions and put in freezer containers. Pour syrup over to cover. Freeze. Ready in about 3 weeks.

To save sugar, let syrup cool to lukewarm and pour it over some of the packed pickles and let them stand a few minutes, part of the syrup can be drained off and additional pickles can be added.
