DATE BARS 
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup dates (chopped)
1/8 tbsp. salt
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup butter
1 cup chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, flour, salt, dates, and nuts.

Bake in 10 x 13 pan. Cook 325°F for 30 minutes or until firm and light brown. Do not over cook.
