PEACH BAVARIAN MOLD | |
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. peach or apricot flavored gelatin 1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches 2 c. boiling water 1 (8 oz.) carton Cool-Whip, thawed 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. almond extract Pinch of Love Drain peaches reserving 2/3 cup juice. Chop peaches into small pieces. Set aside. In a bowl dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water. Stir in reserved juice. Chill until slightly thickened. Stir almond extract into Cool Whip. Gently fold into gelatin mixture. Fold in peaches, pour into an oiled 6 cup mold. Chill overnight. Unmold, garnish with additional peaches if desired. Serves 8 to 10. Use less sugar if peaches are in heavy syrup. Makes a colorful salad or dessert. |
