STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello, prepared with 3 c. water
2-4 c. fresh or frozen strawberries
2 1/2 c. crushed (rolled) pretzel crumbs
9 oz. carton Cool Whip
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. butter, melted

WHITE FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 egg (opt.)

Add strawberries to partially set Jello mixture and let it become partially congealed. Meanwhile, mix pretzels and sugar with butter; press into 9"x13" Pyrex baking dish. Bake this crust mixture for 3 minutes in microwave (or 15 minutes in 350 degree oven). Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and egg; add Cool Whip. Pour over crust. Pour Jello mixture on top. Chill.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
