DIP FOR WHITE CAKE 
3 tbsp. cornstarch
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. sugar
4 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch in 3 quart pan, add egg, vanilla and milk, cook over high heat until mixture thickens. Refrigerate until cold. Pour or dip over warm white cake.
