FRUIT SALAD 
1 (3 oz.) box tapioca pudding
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple (drained)
1 sm. can mandarin oranges (drained)
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Cook the pudding with 1 cup juice from pineapple and 1/2 cup orange juice (add water if necessary). Cool slightly. Fold in the cream that has been whipped and sweetened (I use powdered sugar).

Add the pineapple and mandarin oranges (cut up oranges), if using chunk pineapple cut that up also.

You can stretch this salad if necessary. Use fruit cocktail or banana can be added also at last minute to make a bigger amount.

Lemon pudding can be used in place of tapioca pudding if you wish. Also 1/2 cup of small marshmallows may be added.

Rub butter on scissors before cutting marshmallows or fruit to prevent sticking. Scissors may also be dipped in hot water or flour.
