“SUGAR GHOSTS” IS IN:

SUGAR GHOSTS 
These are super easy to make, decorate and transport to all your Halloween parties!

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
1 egg
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
black decorating gel icing

Combine powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, almond extract and egg in a large bowl. Beat well together. Add flour, baking powder and cream of tartar. Mix well. Wrap in plastic and place in freezer for 25 to 30 minutes.

Heat oven to 375°F. Grease cookie sheets lightly. Divide dough in half and roll out to 1/4-inch thick on lightly floured surface. Cut into ghostly shapes and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake 7 to 8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on rack.

Decorate with black gel icing.

Makes 3 dozen.
