MINT WAFERS 
3 tbsp. butter
1 (14 oz.) pkg. white creamy frosting mix
3 tsp. milk
Several drops of peppermint flavoring
Desired food coloring

Melt butter with milk in double boiler; add frosting mix. Cook over rapidly boiling water for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add flavoring and food coloring. Drop from teaspoons onto waxed paper, swirling tops with spoon. Keep candy mixture over hot water while dropping candies. If mixture thickens, add a few drops of hot water. Cool candies on waxed paper.
