CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. miniature chocolate chips
1 egg, well beaten
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. oil

TOPPING:

3 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Line with paper cups or grease 12 muffin cups.

In medium bowl, combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, salt and chocolate chips. Stir in egg, milk and oil until moistened - batter will be lumpy. Spoon batter into muffin cups 2/3 full. In small bowl combine sugars for topping. sprinkle evenly over muffins.

Bake at 400 degrees, about 20 minutes, or until golden. Remove form pan and serve warm.
