MICROWAVE PEANUT BUTTER BARS 
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
3/4 c. oats
1/4 tsp. salt

Grease bottom only of 7x12x2 inch baking dish. Mix brown sugar, butter, peanut butter, egg and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in flour, oats and salt. Spread evenly in baking dish. Microwave uncovered on high 3 minutes; turn dish 1/4 turn and microwave another 2 minutes or until no longer doughy. Cool, frost with peanut butter frosting. Refrigerate to set frosting. Makes 30 bars.

PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING:

1/3 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips

Microwave peanut butter and butterscotch chips uncovered in a 2-cup glass measuring cup on high until softened, 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Stir until blended well.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
