BANANA CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE
FROSTING
 
1/2 c. softened butter
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1 c. mashed banana
3 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. vinegar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat butter, sugar and eggs together. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine the two mixtures and blend well. Mix in remaining ingredients. Pour batter in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 30 minutes. When cool, frost with chocolate frosting (use frosting recipe below).
