BEETS WITH GARDEN HERBS 
1 1/4 lb. beets, about 5 med.
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. chopped fresh or 1/4 tsp. dried savory
1 tsp. chopped fresh or 1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. salt

1. Prepare and microwave beets; cut into slices.

2. Place beets and remaining ingredients in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover tightly and microwave on high 6-7 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes, until hot. 4 servings (about 1/2 cup each) 100 calories per serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
