ORIENTAL CABBAGE STIR FRY 
1/2 lb. lean sausage meat, cooked, drained
4 c. shredded cabbage
1 grated carrot

Combine all 3 ingredients in saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through.

Mix

2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons corn starch
1/4 cup soy sauce

and pour over vegetables. Cook, stirring well from the bottom. Cook over 3 minutes more minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat. Cover and let cool for 10 minutes.

Serves 2-4. Serve with corn muffins.

My mother liked this dish okay. My kids didn't care for it at all. It turned out a bit too salty. I'm going to add more cabbage to the left-overs and see if that'll take it down some. Though I don't eat meat, I enjoyed cooking it and the fragrance is wonderful. Thanks for sharing :-)
