BISCUIT MIX AND BISCUITS 
Combine thoroughly:

8 c. flour
1 1/3 c. dry milk
5 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. salt

Cut into above until very fine:

1 c. shortening

Store in cool dry place.

BISCUITS:

To 2 3/4 cups mix add 3/4 cups cold water. Knead about 8 turns. Pat out to 1/2 inch and bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.

PANCAKES:

To 1 1/2 cups mix add 3/4 cup water and 1 or 2 eggs.
