2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
3 egg yolks
1 square unsweetened chocolate
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut, flaked
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Cream together brown sugar and shortening. Add sour milk and soda. Add 3 egg yolks, one at a time. Add unsweetened chocolate. Then add flour, vanilla and coconut. Fold in 3 stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
