JAMACIAN BARS | |
1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus dark chocolate cake mix 1 egg 1 c. coconut 1/4 c. butter FILLING: 3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 c. coconut 3/4 c. chopped nuts 1 egg Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease (13 x 9 inch) pan. In large bowl, combine base ingredients at low speed until crumbly. Reserve 2/3 cup of crumbs; press remaining crumbs into prepared pan. In small bowl combine cream cheese and egg at low speed; mix well. Stir in 1 cup coconut; spread over base. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Cut into bars. |
