SPICY CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 lg. green cabbage
1 lb. ground pork
2 c. ground cooked ham
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/8 tsp. ground allspice
1/8 tsp. dill weed
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 carrot, sliced
1 chopped tomato
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice
Flour

Carefully remove and separate cabbage leaves and boil in chicken broth until tender. Stir together ground pork, ground ham, egg, salt, allspice, dill weed and pepper.

Combine in a separate bowl the butter, carrot, tomato, onion and V-8. Wrap 2 tablespoons meat mixture in each cabbage leaf, roll up leaf and roll leaf in flour. Arrange rolled leaves in 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour vegetable mixture over cabbage rolls. Can be frozen before cooking. Thaw before cooking. Bake covered at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover for the last 15 minutes.
