BARBECUED MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 c. soft breadcrumbs
1 sm. onion, diced
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce, divided
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine first 6 ingredients; add 1/2 cup tomato sauce, and stir well. Shape into a 12- x 7-inch loaf; place on a lightly greased rack of broiler pan.

Combine remaining tomato sauce and remaining ingredients in a saucepan; stir well. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat; simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside.

Bake meat loaf at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, basting with barbecue sauce the last 30 minutes of baking. Serve with remaining sauce. Yield: 8 servings.
