BARBECUED CHICKEN ON A BUN 
1 whole 4-lb. chicken
1 1/4 c. ketchup
2 c. water
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. chili powder or paste
1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
6 Kaiser rolls

Place whole chicken in large kettle, cover with water, heat to boiling and simmer until chicken is cooked, about 1 hour. Remove chicken from pan, cool and shred meat from bones.

In large saucepan, combine ketchup, water, onion, salt, celery seed, chili powder, brown sugar, Tabasco, Worcestershire and vinegar. Add shredded chicken. Simmer chicken in sauce for 1 1/2 hours. Serve warm on rolls. 6 servings.
