OREO SUNDAE 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
1/2 c. soft butter
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream (buy ice cream packaged in a box)
Chopped nuts
Hershey's chocolate syrup (small can)
Cool Whip
Cherries

Crush Oreos into crumbs, reserve 1/4 crumbs. Mix balance of crumbs with softened butter. Spread in 9 x 13 pan to form bottom layer and press in place. Slice ice cream to fill in next layer. Pour chocolate syrup over ice cream, sprinkle nuts and rest of crumbs. Freeze. To serve, cut in squares, top with whipped cream and cherries.
