OLD - FASHION MOIST CARROT CAKE | |
3 c. flour 2 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. baking soda 3 eggs 1 c. cold water 2 c. shredded carrots 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/3 c. vegetable oil 1 c. chopped nuts Mix dry ingredients together; add the eggs and cold water. Next add carrots, nuts, and oil. I mix this by hand. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes in a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Frost with cream cheese frosting. FROSTING: 8 oz. cream cheese 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. powdered sugar 1/4 c. butter Combine. |
