1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1 (30 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce 2 green peppers, chopped 1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained 1 lg. onion, sliced or chopped 1 c. sm. shell macaroni 1 c. curly macaroni 1 c. pinwheel macaroni 2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. chopped garlic 6 to 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated Brown beef and set aside. Crisp fry onions and green pepper in small amount oil. Cook macaroni in boiling water until tender. Mix all together (except cheese) with sauce and bake in casserole until bubbly (30 to 45 minutes) at 350 degrees. Add cheese to top and continue cooking until cheese melts. Serves 10 to 12. |
