"COOL" MINT BROWNIES 
1 cube butter
1 c. water
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. oil
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. Cool Whip
Mint flavoring and green food coloring

Bring butter, water, cocoa and oil to boil. Combine flour, sugar, salt and soda. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla to boiling mixture. Beat into dry mixture, will be runny. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes in large cookie sheet pan. Cool. Stir flavoring (to taste) and food coloring into Cool Whip and spread on cake. Put in freezer to set.

FROSTING:

Boil:

1 cube butter
1/4 c.cocoa
1/3 c. buttermilk

Add:

3 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Pour over cake - quickly! Add chopped nuts, if desired.
