GREEN PEPPER STEAK
1 lb. round steak, sliced thin
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. oil
1 lg. green pepper, cut into strips
1 c. water
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Partly freeze steak to make it easier to trim fat and slice into thin 1/4 inch thick slices, 1 x 2 inches. Toss into soy sauce. Let set for 15-20 minutes.

Heat oil in skillet or wok. Brown meat on one side.

Add green pepper slices. Cook and stir until meat is brown. Combine cornstarch and water. Add to meat. Stir until thickened over medium heat until tender.

Serve over rice or noodles.
