SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN 
2 broiler/fryer chickens
1 (8 oz.) bottle Russian salad dressing (the red kind)
1 (1 3/8 oz.) env. dry onion soup mix
1 (10 oz.) jar apricot preserves

Cut up chicken. Place parts skin side up in single layer of large shallow baking dish. Combine Russian dressing. Dry onion soup mix and preserves. Pour over chicken. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Baste occasionally with pan drippings. Serve hot with rice or noodles and the Sweet and Sour Sauce.
