1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour (sifted)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
2 apples (chopped fine)
1 pear (chopped fine)
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream sugar and butter. Add vanilla and eggs and beat well. Sift flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, together. Add to egg mixture and alternate when adding sour cream. Fold in the pear and apples. Grease a pan 13 x 9 x 2 inch and pour in the mixture spreading out evenly.

TOPPING:

1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. nuts (chopped)

Combine mixture and spread on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 3/4 of an hour.
