SKILLET COOKIES 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 3/4 c. Rice Krispies
1 beaten egg
1 c. chopped dates
1 tbsp. white Karo syrup

Combine everything but Rice Krispies in skillet. Cook and stir for 10 minutes. Add Rice Krispies. Cook and roll into balls (1 inch). Shake in a bag of powdered sugar. Store in cool plate.

NOTE: Makes about 50 pieces, tastes like maple syrup balls!
