EGGNOG PIE 
1 tsp. unflavored gelatin
1 tbsp. cold water
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. scalded milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 c. whipping cream, whipped
1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
Nutmeg

Soften the gelatin in cold water in a small bowl. Mix the sugar, cornstarch and salt in a double boiler. Stir the milk in slowly and cook until thick, stirring frequently. Stir small amount of milk mixture into egg yolks. Stir back into milk mixture and cook several minutes longer. Remove from heat. Add the gelatin, vanilla and almond extract and cool, stirring occasionally to prevent skim forming on top. Fold in the whipped cream. Pour into pie shell and sprinkle heavily with nutmeg. Chill overnight.
