CHILI CONCOCTION 
2 tbsp. fat
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
1 (No. 2) kidney beans
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Melt fat in frying pan. Add ground beef. Break meat apart and stir with fork as it browns lightly. Then stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, then turn down heat. Simmer 1 hour. 4 to 6 servings.
