SWEET-SOUR PORK OR CHICKEN 
3 lbs. pork country ribs or 1 chicken, cut in pieces
Cooked rice

SAUCE:

1/3 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
2/3 c. vinegar
1 c. crushed pineapple with juice
1/2 c. catsup
1/2 c. water

Mix sauce ingredients. Cook over medium heat until thick and glossy. Brown meat or microwave 10 minutes on high. Pour off liquid. Arrange meat pieces in 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Pour half of sauce over meat. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Add remainder of sauce and bake 15 minutes more. Serve with hot rice.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
