CHOCOLATE SHEATH CAKE 
2 c. all purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2/3 c. butter (12 tbsp.)
2/3 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine flour, sugar, and salt in bowl. In saucepan, mix water, cocoa, and butter. Bring to a boil, then set aside to cool. Mix together buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Pour boiled cocoa mixture over sugar and flour mixture. Combine till well blended. Add buttermilk mixture. Pour in jelly roll pan or 9 x 13 x 2 pan.

Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and ice while hot.

Icing:

6 tbsp. milk
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 box confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Prepare icing while cake is baking. Mix milk, butter and cocoa together in saucepan and heat. Add confectioners sugar and vanilla. Pour and spread icing over hot cake.
