CREAM OF BROCCOLI SOUP 
1/2 c. onion
2 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper flakes
1 lb. broccoli, chopped
2 cans chicken broth
1 c. half & half
Chicken soup base or salt

Saute onion in butter. Stir in flour and curry powder. Add cayenne, broccoli and chicken broth. Simmer until broccoli is tender. Add half & half. Heat through. Adjust seasoning with chicken soup base or salt. Serves 4-6.
