SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. Karo light syrup
3 eggs, beaten slightly
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted (use real butter)
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix above ingredients well. Fold in 1 1/2 cups whole pecans (you can used chopped). Pour into unbaked (9 inch) pastry shell and bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
