TACO SALAD 
1 head lettuce
3 med. tomatoes
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
3 tbsp. sweet pickle relish
3 tbsp. chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) bottle Thousand Island dressing
1 lb. hamburger
2 tbsp. onion
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 c. water
1 can red kidney beans, rinsed & drained
1 (8 oz.) bag plain Tostitos, crunched up

Mix broken lettuce, chopped tomatoes, cheddar cheese, pickle relish and chopped onion. Brown hamburger and onion. Drain off excess fat. Add taco seasoning mix and 1 cup water. Simmer until thickened. Add hamburger mixture, kidney beans, crushed Tostitos and Thousand Island dressing to lettuce mixture; toss and enjoy. Best when first made but leftovers are good slightly warmed. Serve with salsa and sour cream.
