APPLE PIE 
Pie crust
6 apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
Pinch salt
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Mix everything but apples together. Add apples and mix well. Roll crust and fill. Add top crust with slits for venting. Seal edges. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 30 - 40 minutes. (Pie may be frozen before baking. To bake if frozen: heat oven to 425 degrees, place pie on foil lined cookie sheet and bake 60 - 70 minutes.)
