ORANGE CAKE CUSTARD 
3 c. leftover cake, cut into 1" cubes
3/4 c. orange juice
2 c. milk
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt

Place cubed cake in buttered 6 cup casserole. Pour orange juice over it and let stand. Scald milk in top of double boiler and add it to beaten eggs and sugar. Return to double boiler and continue cooking until mixture coats a spoon. Add salt. Pour over cake mixture and bake in a slow oven (300 degrees) for 20 minutes or until delicately browned. Serve warm or chilled.
